On behalf of our customers we are looking for an Senior Accountant (m/f/d) in the greater Düsseldorf area as part of our service of direct personnel placement.

Your tasks

Responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
Supervision of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger accounting
Preparing VAT returns and tax-related reports
Conducting account reconciliations and accrual postings
Supporting audits and liaising with tax consultants and auditors
Preparing management reports and analyses

Your profile

Degree in business administration or completed training as accountant / balance sheet accountant (IHK)
Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment
Very good knowledge of HGB and IFRS
Excellent English skills, German beneficial
Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Navision)
Analytical thinking, accuracy and hands-on mentality
